We love pho after a long tiring day, and this hits the spot. The broth was slightly sweet, interestingly, so I don't think you'll need hoisin sauce. Service was quick and they checked in on us which was nice. There wasn't an option for regular or large bowls, but I felt the pho itself was a good portion size. Restaurant itself was very clean and cute compared to other pho/Viet restaurants I've been in. The bean sprouts, lime, and basil tasted and looked fresh.

Ordered take out passing through there. Owners are super friendly and nice. I ordered the fresh spring rolls and also the grilled pork spring rolls which was not on the menu. They agreed to make it for me fresh. It took about 15 minutes but they were so nice and friendly, offering water and a seat to wait for my order. Seems to me the locals come here a lot as many were on first name basis with owners. Definitely will be back when I'm up in the area.

BBQ pork bun was pretty good. Generous portions and very welcoming service. Curry noodles wasn't my jam, might try the pho next time around.

This review is not about the food or service. It is to applaud the thoughtful and considerate actions of the management. Let me explain.... It was Friday at 12:30pm, prime lunchtime. I had never been to Saigon Cafe, but had read the number of great reviews on Yelp. As I entered I noticed only a couple of seats open. The waiter (owner?) promptly approached and said, "sit wherever you wish." He then added, "We just got a wave of customers and your food order may take a bit longer than usual, perhaps 40 minutes." I was a bit short of time and GREATLY appreciated him telling me that. It was so much better than siting down, ordering and then being frustrated when my food took a long time to arrive. In summary, I thought it extremely considerate of him to advise me of the situation knowing I might leave. I will absolutely return and try what I expect to be a great meal. Bravo!
